Spear REIT launches one of South Africa’s first self-isolation unit offerings

JSE listed Spear REIT Limited, the owner of the Double Tree by Hilton Cape Town, is the first in South Africa to launch an innovative self-quarantine accommodation solution.

Francois Steyn, Hospitality Asset Manager at Spear REIT highlights that: “Guests will be received and made to feel at home. There is enough trauma associated with being separated from your loved ones during this time. Special procedures and precautions have been put in place to protect all guests, staff and non-hotel guests making use of the general property”.

The hotel is situated in the Upper Eastside precinct in Woodstock, Cape Town. Management has created self-isolation units where guests will be welcomed to their home away from home with a special hygiene hampers and the comforts commonly found at home. Guests will receive access to high speed internet, in room dining which caters to all dietary requirements, connected in room AV solutions providing access to streaming services and much more.
